Industrial Turnover Index up 6.3% in July

In July 2024, the Industrial Turnover Index reached 152.7 units (base 2021=100), recording an increase of 6.,3% compared to July 2023, according to data published by CySTAT.

In manufacturing, the Industrial Turnover Index for July 2024 reached 142.8 units, recording an increase of 8.4% compared to July 2023.

Increases were also recorded in the sectors of mining and quarrying (+25.8%) and water supply and materials recovery (+11.1%).

A decrease was noted in the sector of electricity supply (-2.4%).

For the period January – July 2024, the index recorded an increase of 2.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
