Petrolina: Platinum Sponsor of Let’s do it! Cyprus – Clean Up Cyprus campaign

Aligned with its commitment to support Cyprus and its people, Petrolina has continued to offer its support as the Platinum Sponsor of the Let’s Do It! Cyprus campaign for another year.

This initiative is the largest environmental action implemented in Cyprus, achieving the highest level of participation. Its aim is to raise awareness and encourage active citizen involvement in issues concerning the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of our land and marine environments, a press release noted.

"Since 2014, we’ve believed in and supported Let’s Do It! Cyprus as it grew into the largest environmental and volunteer campaign in Cyprus," said Georgia Lefkariti, Executive Director of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd. "Environmental protection is a top priority for us, and we are immensely proud of how this campaign inspires communities to take action.”

As the campaign’s Major Sponsor, Petrolina joined forces with its Petrolina Energy Team on Thursday, 31 October, for a cleanup at Patticheio Park in Larnaca, reflecting its commitment to the campaign’s mission of clearing Cyprus of litter across streets, cities, and natural spaces, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Let’s Do It! Cyprus 2024, under the slogan #stoxerisou, is organised by the Environmental and Social Network Together Cyprus, in partnership with and under the auspices of the Office of the Environment and Animal Welfare Commissioner. Every year, this nationwide movement unites public authorities, municipalities, schools, companies, NGOs, and countless citizens, all dedicated to making a positive environmental impact.
