New RIF program: Funding opportunities up to €150,000 for Cypriot businesses

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is allocating €1.25 million to support Cypriot businesses under the new cycle of the program PhD in Industry – "PHD IN INDUSTRY/1124".

The program provides funding of up to €150,000 over three years for the employment of a PhD student to carry out a research project aligned with the company’s activities, enhancing its competitiveness. It also includes free innovation and knowledge transfer support services from the RIF, giving companies access to specialized consultancy.

Priority is given to proposals that have not previously received funding from the RIF and/or European programs from 2016 to date, as well as to medium and large enterprises.

Proposals must be submitted through the RIF IRIS portal, with a deadline of March 27, 2025.
