FM in UAE to participate in “Sir Bani Yas” Forum in UAE

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will participate in the “Sir Bani Yas” Forum, which is taking place this week in the United Arab Emirates, at the invitation of his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The annual Forum, which will take place between 15 and 17 November, “has been established as an important platform for dialogue and exchange of views”, it said, adding that it is being organised by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the discussion of issues on security and stability in the wider Middle East and Gulf region.

In notes that the Forum will attend Foreign Ministers of EU member states and Middle Eastern countries, as well as representatives of international organisations, among others.
