CBN Young Dragon Awards: Meet the candidates in the Construction and Real Estate category

Members of the public have until 26 November to show their support for their preferred candidates and votes are streaming in for the young entrepreneurs and professionals under the age of 40 who will be awarded as part of the newly established CBN Young Dragon Awards.

The Awards Ceremony will be taking place in Nicosia on 2 December and attendance is by invitation only.

With three finalists in each award category have selected and announced by the Awards Committee, the public can, for a few more days, still continue to cast their vote and shape the final result, contributing to and decisively determining the selection of each category's awardee. The public's vote will count on a 50%-50% scale with the Award Committee's vote.

The three finalists in the Construction and Real Estate award category, as selected by the Awards Committee, are:

Christiana Rotou

Company: RotosGroup

Position: Director of Operations

Starting her journey in Quantity Surveying studies and further obtaining her MSc in Project Management, these acted as founding pillars for Rotou to further develop her overall growth. Some of the talents that evolved throughout her working years, were her strong negotiation abilities, quick problem management and solving as well as her eagerness to always and continuously differentiate and develop further. Her greatest accomplishments were to introduce and implement the technological advancement within the group and also promoting the female presence within the workforce. Today, Rotou’s vision and thus her aim is to continue developing innovative projects of high aesthetics that will leave their mark on the architectural culture of our place, with a focus on the human being as well as the values that she inherited from the previous generation.

Chrysanthi Gavriel is a Civil Engineer with over eight years of experience and a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cyprus. She has been working at Pafilia Property Developers Ltd since 2019 and is currently the Site Engineer for the demanding Ezousa project at Minthis, overseeing the construction of 50 luxury apartments. In a male-dominated field, Gavriel has gained respect across all levels, from frontline workers to senior management, through her outstanding performance, humility, and positive attitude. Her leadership during critical moments and strong organizational skills have been crucial to the team’s success, making her a role model.

Elena Narbuts

Position: VP of Sales & Marketing

Narbuts has reorganised the sales and marketing to increase efficiency, implemented a modern CRM system to improve customer relations. These efforts have significantly improved customer satisfaction. Through the CBN Young Dragon Awards, Cyprus Business News will reward and celebrate new talents, potential and their early achievements in the business sector.

The CBN Young Dragon Awards will honour professionals/executives under the age of 40 who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, leadership and commitment to making a positive impact on their companies.

One person will receive the Dragon Award for each category, starting a new or renewed business and career path.

Those members of the public who wish to participate in the voting can only vote for one candidate per category, while you do not have to choose a candidate in all categories for your vote to be valid. You can vote via the same IP address only once.
