‘Help Desks’ by TEAMWORK 2 for Combating Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
Special Feature 10:35 - 19 November 2024
As part of its mission to combat sexual harassment in the workplace, the TEAMWORK2 project has created Help Desks in each partner country, including Cyprus which will continue this important provision.
The Help Desks provide immediate and free support both to individuals who have experienced sexual harassment and to organizations seeking to create safer work environments. Specifically, they offer valuable services at the local and regional levels, helping businesses develop prevention plans and implement compliance procedures with the law. At the same time, the Help Desks provide information and guidance to victims seeking support and advice on their next steps.
The Help Desk in Cyprus is coordinated by the Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with CARDET. For contact, call 26818173 or email info@pcci.org.cy (Monday-Thursday 08:00-14:00 and 15:00-17:30, Friday 08:00-14:15).
Alongside the Help Desks, TEAMWORK2 offers a rich set of freely available resources, such as online courses, training seminars, business consultations, and a digital information platform, aimed at helping business executives acquire practical skills for recognizing and addressing inappropriate behaviors in the workplace.
