RIF: Dynamic presence at SLUSH 2024

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is actively participating in the prestigious international innovation and entrepreneurship festival SLUSH 2024, taking place in Helsinki, Finland, on 20-21 November 2024.

SLUSH 2024 brings together entrepreneurs and investors from around the world, offering a unique platform to connect and showcase innovative ideas.

The Cypriot delegation consists of over 40 participants, including 18 startups and scaleups, who have the opportunity to present their products and services to an international audience. Heading the delegation is RIF Board Member Andreas Andreou.

In collaboration with organisations from Bulgaria and Greece, RIF co-organised a side event titled "Breaking Boundaries: SEE Tech Meets The World at Slush." RIF’s Director General, Theodoros Loukaidis, highlighted Cyprus as a regional hub for innovation and technology, showcasing the country's robust ecosystem and emphasising the government incentives and investments supporting innovative enterprises.

Subsequently, RIF Scientific Officer A’ Georgia Kleanthous presented the 18 companies of the delegation, focusing on their innovations and the opportunities they offer.

The event concluded with a networking reception, providing businesses with the opportunity to connect with potential clients and investors, thereby enhancing their prospects for international collaboration and growth.
