EIB President in Cyprus for inauguration of Bank’s Nicosia office

President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Nadia Calviño, is due to meet with President Nikos Christodoulides and Finance Minister Makis Keravnos during her first official visit to the country for the inauguration of the Bank’s office in Nicosia.

Τhe inauguration ceremony for the EIB office will take place at the Ministry of Finance in Nicosia between 1pm and 2.45pm on 22 November, in the presence of the Finance Minister. 

According to a press release issued by the Finance Ministry, Calviño’s first official visit to Cyprus, in her capacity as President of the EIB Group, includes meetings with President Christodoulides and the Minister of Finance to discuss shared priorities for enhancing economic resilience and sustainable growth.

The EIB President will also be given a tour of the University of Cyprus and will visit its library and Engineering School, which were financed by the EIB.
