Siarhei Kostevitch: Cyprus has been ideal as a base for ASBIS's operations

Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO of ASBIS Cyprus, one of the largest companies on the island, has been on the island since 1995.

Speaking to Invest Cyprus’ YouTube series recently, he noted that “My experience of living and working in Cyprus has been excellent for so many years.”

Some 300 of the group’s 3,000 employees around the world work in Cyprus and Kostevitch, among other things, underlines the company’s high retention rate when it comes to local employees.

He also explained some of the reasons ASBIS selected Cyprus for its operations in 1995.

Kostevitch made particular mention of the country’s economic stability, legislation that was compatible with international trade and the safe environment it provided for his growing family.
