The Spokesman referred to the obligation of the State, to be able to provide quality healthcare services to its citizens.

“In this context, for this very ambitious development plan”, he said, specific timetables have been set while President Christodoulides himself will be informed regularly on the progress of the implementation of these projects.

Especially for the Paphos district, he added, some projects with very specific timetables - to be completed by June 2026 - have been announced. He noted that these concern upgrading the Paphos General Hospital's accident and emergency department, while renovations will take place and there will be new Units to the Paphos General Hospital and the Polis Chrysochous Hospital.
