George Priftakis appointed Sales Director of Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus

George Priftakis has assumed the role of Sales Director at Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus.

He assumed the new post as of 1 November 2024, a relevant announcement notes.

With an extensive career in sales and business development, Priftakis takes on his new role following a successful 22-year career at Coca-Cola 3E in Greece.

Starting off as a Business Developer in 2002, Priftakis steadily advanced to increasingly senior roles, making significant contributions to the company’s sales growth and development. In 2018, as Regional Sales Manager for the Attica region, he successfully implemented the new Route to Market strategy. In 2021, as Field Sales Manager, he was responsible for the Fragmented Trade and Modern Trade channels, successfully driving the growth of Coca-Cola HBC’s 24/7 portfolio.

In 2022, Priftakis assumed the pivotal role of WHS Sales Manager, achieving what the announcement described as remarkable results with his team by innovating in the development of new categories and digitizing the WHS channel. "Most recently, he served as acting Sales Director in Greece, leading the sales team to outstanding results during the demanding summer period," the announcement continued.

Priftakis succeeds Evangelos (Vangelis) Moschos, who, after seven successful years in Cyprus, will now take on the role of BU Unit Coffee, Premium Spirits, Beers & Three Cents Director , with responsibilities spanning Greece and Cyprus.
