KPMG in Cyprus supports creativity and innovation through the Creativity, Innovation, and Business Idea Programme “IDEODROMIO”

KPMG in Cyprus, dedicated to the support of developing an entrepreneurial mindset through education, and the support of young talent, continues for the 9th year its active collaboration and support of the Creativity, Innovation, and Business Idea Programme, “IDEODROMIO”, a programme organised by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and CEDAR.

The Programme, which commenced on 25 October 2024, is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Youth, aiming to foster creativity, innovation, and business ideas among middle school and high school students, as well as students from Technical and Vocational Schools of Education and Training.

The purpose of the Programme, is to inspire and promote creative and innovative thinking by exploring the challenges of the modern world and local society.

Through the KPMG Startup Innovation Lab (“KPMG SIL”) team, KPMG in Cyprus actively supports the Programme with scheduled presentations and mentoring workshops, sharing skills and expertise with teachers and participating teams.

On behalf of KPMG in Cyprus and KPMG SIL, Pangratios Vanezis, Board Member and Head of the Startups and Entrepreneurship team, commented, “‘IDEODROMIO’ has become a valued initiative, benefiting the country’s entrepreneurial landscape by introducing business and entrepreneurship education into schools. We are fully prepared to support this effort once again through mentoring and training, and by participating in the judging panel during the presentation of the teams at the Entrepreneurship Day Awards Ceremony, which will be held on 10 April 2025. KPMG in Cyprus proudly continues to support ‘IDEODROMIO’ and remains committed to creating opportunities for young people and fostering an entrepreneurial culture in Cyprus”.
