Retail trade marks annual gains both in value and volume in September

Retail trade in Cyprus in September posted annual gains both turnover value and turnover volume, CYSTAT reports.

According to data released by CySTAT, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for September 2024 increased by 3.1% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

For the same month, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade increased by 3.3% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

For the period January-September 2024, the Value Index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 5% and the Volume Index an increase of 3.8%, compared to the same period of 2023.
