Alphamega Hypermarkets is opening their new, ultra-modern store in Astromeritis, a move that aims to strengthen the chain's presence in the semi-mountainous and mountainous areas.
Opening on 10 December, the store, which is located in a central location, where a large number of drivers pass daily heading to the mountains and vice versa, covers a total area of 1,000 square meters, and incorporates the most modern services and facilities.
The company's goal, through this particular store, is to offer upgraded services to its customers.
The new Alphamega hypermarket will feature a fruit shop, a bakery with fresh pastries, a butcher shop and a grill with freshly cooked food, as well as a Bean Bar branch, which will serve the chain's coffees and well-known drinks and snacks.
The store also features important technological innovations such as self-checkouts and electronic shelves (ESL), which offer up-to-date product information.
The Alphamega Hypermarkets’ well-known Click & Collect service will also be operational, facilitating consumers who prefer to order the products they are interested in online and pick them up themselves at times that are convenient for them, from the counters located in the parking lot of the new hypermarket.
As InBusinessNews has been informed, the choice of Astromeritis was not accidental. It is a key location that leads to the mountainous areas of Nicosia.
Having the successful experience from the Trimiklini store, which serves the mountainous areas of Limassol, Alphamega Hypermarkets aims to meet the needs of the communities in the area, investing in improving access to modern infrastructure.
It is worth noting that according to a recent announcement by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC), Alphamega Hypermarkets is on track to strengthen its presence in the Paphos district, through the proposed acquisition of P.M.M. Papamichael Supermarket, located in the community of Mandria.
