CySEC launches new website to support regulated firms and investors

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has unveiled the refreshed CySEC website designed to support the regulated firms, the investors and other interested parties.

"Featuring a contemporary clean design, the new website features improved user-friendly navigation and functionality for users as well as adaptability for smart devices," CySEC said in a press release.

An important feature is a new search tool that allows users to search a variety of information on all regulated and former regulated firms, it added.

The new website also includes among other things, "a homepage carousel containing the latest developments for firms and Investors, a comprehensive centralised hub and a dedicated media section."

In particular, the comprehensive centralised hub aims to support regulated entities or other interested parties to have access to registries and portal systems for submitting relevant information to CySEC.

A special news area was also created, which contains press releases, interviews and media statements, videos, publications and events, providing more transparency around CySEC’s work.

Dr. George Theocharides, Chair of CySEC said that "the redesigned website marks the first phase of our efforts to enhance the user experience and deliver an improved user-friendly navigation and functionality for supervised entities, investors and the public in general."

"A key driver was our determination to become a more accessible and sustainable regulator. Future phases of upgrades are planned to meet the evolving needs and expectations of CySEC’s website users," he added.
