C.A. Papaellinas Emporiki Ltd (Alphamega) is hiring an Information Technology Technician to work full time in Nicosia.

We are looking for a IT Technician to help maintain, and troubleshoot the rapidly expanding infrastructure,” the job vacancy says. “You will be part of a talented team of IT professionals that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.”

Technical Requirements

  • BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting windows based environments.
  • Experience with PC and Point of Sale hardware, Printers and Computer peripherals;
  • Experience with MS Dynamics Nav and LS Retail will be considered a significant advantage
  • Experience with MS Active Directory and knowledge of MS Exchange will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Networking Technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) will be considered an advantage.

Must-Have:

  • Ability to effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language;
  • Confidentiality
  • Can work in shifts
