The Future of Work in Paphos: Offices Designed for Innovation

Paphos is rapidly growing as one of Cyprus’ most dynamic cities, and its office landscape is evolving to match this. Traditional office buildings are giving way to innovative, flexible workspaces designed for the modern workforce. With global trends reshaping how we work, Paphos is at the front of this transformation, led by several high-profile projects that signal a shift toward spaces designed for creativity, collaboration and innovation.

The Current State of the Office Market in Paphos

Paphos has long been known for its rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty, but in recent years, it has become a hub for local and international businesses. However, the city’s office market is still catching up with its growing economic activity. Most of the current office spaces in Paphos consist of older buildings that lack the modern amenities and flexible layouts required by today’s companies. The demand for modern office spaces has grown rapidly, especially among startups and tech companies looking for new facilities that match their way of working.

Beon Active Office: A Hub of Community and Innovation

One of the projects we want to talk about today is Beon active office, created by INEX. It offers a range of workspaces, from co-working areas to private team spaces, all designed to adapt as businesses evolve and grow.

Beon in Paphos is a sold-out success and has quickly become a hub for work, collaboration and community. Responding to its popularity, INEX begun work on an extension that will include more office suites and additional membership options to accommodate the growing demand.

Beon stands out as one of the most technologically advanced office spaces in the region. With its key features such as:

  • Face ID: Seamless and secure entry to the workspace.
  • Smart Lockers: High-tech, secure storage solutions.
  • Special App: A mobile application for managing bookings, connecting with the community, and accessing services.
  • Smart Systems: Automated lighting, temperature control and energy-efficient operations aligned with sustainability principles.

Beon’s excellence has been recognised with a Fitwel 3-Star Certification, underscoring its commitment to health, wellbeing and sustainable practices. Beon is the first office building in Cyprus to receive this prestigious certification.

Beon also has a strong community focus. It’s more than just an office space - it’s a lively ecosystem. The transformable event zone hosts small concerts, shows, parties and quizzes, creating a unique environment where work meets culture. The existing Ray coffee bar is a popular spot, and INEX planning to expand with a restaurant and bakery, further growing the onsite amenities.

Beon has also hosted notable events, such as an AI Summit that brought together over 120 participants from around the world, and THE HUB, a biweekly gathering for the IT community. These events highlight Beon’s role as a connector and innovator in Paphos’s business scene.

The concept of Beon is growing beyond Paphos. INEX currently have a Beon in Serbia and are set to open another in Limassol next year, bringing the same adaptable workspace model to more locations.

Majestic: A Landmark for Innovation

Located in the historic centre of Paphos, Majestic is the future INEX headquarters and a premium-class business centre. This six-floor development features flexible spaces that can be tailored to meet the needs of businesses, whether as traditional leases, fully fitted-out offices or blank canvases ready for customization.

Majestic offers the flexibility of renting the whole floor or half of the floor. From each office space there are stunning sea views. The building includes a rooftop garden, a café on the ground floor and underground parking, ensuring convenience and comfort. Close to key city landmarks, Majestic’s completion is just around the corner, set for Q2.

QUBE: Redefining Mixed-Use Developments

Another transformative INEX project is QUBE, a mixed-use, business-class complex centrally located in Paphos. The development features three distinct blocks: two residential blocks with apartments and a third block with a mix of commercial spaces, high-end offices, restaurants and more apartments.

QUBE’s flexible office spaces include co-working areas, private offices and meeting rooms designed for collaboration and innovation. QUBE’s commercial part will accommodate a wide variety of businesses: from stores to cafes and restaurants. This range of future tenants will create an environment where both visitors, residents and workers can conveniently access services, enjoy leisure activities and meet their everyday needs - all in one location.
