A collaboration between Premium Access Group, with shareholders Evgeni Leibovich and Shaul Keinan, and Thanos Hospitality Services, which will take over the management of Palm Beach Resort, aims to create an ambitious project, a resort that has been missing from Larnaca's tourism product.
The transformation of the historic hotel into a high-end resort, with a high-level mixed development, is expected to contribute to the upgrading of Larnaca and its repositioning on the tourist map.
As part of the announcement of the collaboration between the two groups, commitments were made to create a unique luxury destination that will redefine Larnaca as a tourist destination and a magnet for visitors from Cyprus and abroad.
Larnaca is just the beginning
Joining forces with Thanos Hospitality Services is proof of the commitment to providing high-quality services in the hospitality sector, pointed out Shaul Keinan, CEO of Premium Access Cyprus, noting that the goal is to accelerate the development of both Larnaca and the island, for which the company sees significant prospects.
With the complete upgrade of Palm Beach Resort and its transformation into a luxury resort, in an ambitious investment woth over €110 million, Premium Access is creating strong connections with Cyprus, as it intends to go beyond the boundaries of Larnaca and create special destinations on the island.
Thanos Hospitality's seal of success and the investors’ vote of confidence
With eight more hotel units under management in Cyprus and Greece, Thanos Hospitality Services is participating in a distinctive and unique mixed development project, which includes a hotel, apartments and offices, while at the same time being a foreign investors’ vote of confidence of in the Cypriot market.
The ambitious development of Palm Beach Resort, which is expected to put Larnaca on the tourist map, is aimed at the modern traveler by offering a multitude of high-level services.
The statement by Thanos Michaelides was indicative, as he explained that Thanos Hospitality Services invests in quality, not volume, emphasising that tourism needs substance and not any spectacular moves, which in the end may have no basis.
"Both Evgeni Leibovich and Shaul Keinan (the Premium Access shareholders) are committed to creating a development that will make us proud to be a part of and to collaborate with them," Michaelides said.
Aiming to expand in Cyprus and abroad
It is noted that Thanos Hospitality Services, a member of the Thanos Hotels and Resorts group, has as its primary goal the expansion of its services in Cyprus and abroad.
So far, the company, which has over 50 employees, offers comprehensive hotel management services, from concept design to the operation and management of a hotel.
With the announcement of the partnership with Premium Access Cyprus, Thanos Hospitality Services reaches eight hotels under management in Cyprus and Greece.
A milestone for the company is the collaboration with the bbf group: for the management of the historic Berengaria hotel in Prodromos, as well as the dynamic entry into the Greek market with Amyth of Mykonos Super Paradise and Amyth of Mykonos Agios Stefanos.
Iconic hotel and regenerated building
A five-star hotel, luxurious ground-floor private residences, a tower with apartments for owner-occupancy, dining and entertainment venues, a state-of-the-art wellness centre and office space are included, among other things, in the facilities.
The entire development, which will create new data for Larnaca, is expected to be completed in approximately one and a half years.
With respect to the history of Palm Beach and Larnaca, the city of Zenonas, the project plans were presented by the responsible architects, Eraclis Papachristou (Eraclis Papachristou Architects) and Christodoulos Christodoulou (Iqona Architects).
The two creators focused on maximising the use of indoor and outdoor spaces, emphasising natural and earthy elements. In addition to hotel beds, the project will include private apartments and office space.
The iconic hotel leads Larnaca in the right direction, with a fully regenerated building, which harmoniously blends in with the surrounding area.
