Employment reached 507,323 persons in Q3 of 2024

Employment for the 3rd quarter of 2024 is estimated at 507,323 persons, recording an increase of 2.2%, compared to the 3rd quarter of 2023, according to data published by CySTAT.

Of these, 454,850 are employees and 52,473 are self-employed.

The most significant percentage increases were observed in the economic activities of Arts, Entertainment and Recreation, Accommodation and Food Service Activities and Information and Communication.

Actual hours worked for the 3rd quarter of 2024 are estimated at 230,18 million, recording an increase of 2.6%, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023.
