A press release said that the signing took place in January in Athens with the participation of the President of the Cypriot committee, Senior Vice-Rector Professor Constantinos Fellas, and the Vice President and Chairman of the Greek Committee, Charalambos Tsekeri.

The objective of the MoU is "to deepen relations between the two committees, to promote their common objectives and interests and to broaden their scientific and educational cooperation, within the framework of their defined competencies and in accordance with the legislation governing them," the press release said.
