Press Release 11:43 - 13 February 2024
KPMG Cyprus, within its commitment to the business evolution, training and support of young talents, is, for the eighth year, continuing its active support of the Creativity, Innovation and Business Idea Program 'IDEODROMIO,' a programme utilised by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute.
'IDEODROMIO,' which has been launched since November with more than two hundred participations, is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Youth, aiming at promoting creativity, innovation and business ideas among middle school and high school students, as well as students from Technical and Vocational Schools of Education and Training.
The purpose of the Programme is to inspire and promote creative and innovative thinking, through the investigation of the challenges of the modern world and the local society.
Our firm is currently supporting the Programme through its Startups and Entrepreneurship team and has scheduled presentations and mentorship workshops, teaching skills and offering expertise to the teachers and the participating teams.
On behalf of KPMG Cyprus, Pangratios Vanezis, Board Member and Head of the Startups and Entrepreneurship team, commented: "‘IDEODROMIO’ promotes an important process with multiple benefits for the entrepreneurship of the country, by including business and entrepreneurship education in schools.
Our firm is ready to actively participate in this process for another year, by taking a seat in the judging panel during the presentation of the teams. In addition, this year we are pleased to present the award to the winning team at the Entrepreneurship Day Awards Ceremony, that will take place on 11 April 2024.
KPMG Cyprus proudly continues to support ‘IDEODROMIO’ and remains committed to creating opportunities for young people and strengthening the entrepreneurial culture in Cyprus."
