Italian President's historic visit in pictures

Italy's President Sergio Mattarella has wrapped his official state visit - the first ever by an Italian President to Cyprus - following two days packed with events and meetings.

After arriving on the island on 26 February, he and Italy's First Lady Laura Mattarella were welcomed at the Presidential Palace by President Nikos Christodoulides and First Lady Philippa Karsera, who later hosted an official dinner in their honour.
