Education, research and development organisation CARDET presented its advanced digital learning systems at a workshop held by the Consultation Forum for Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security Sector (CF SEDSS) recently in Larnaca
The workshop, which was joined by over 100 European and US experts and was organised by the European Defence Agency in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus, focused on defence energy transition.
Congratulating the European Defence Agency and Cyprus organisations that were represented, CARDET said on its social media: “Our team showcased the advanced digital learning systems we develop and gave a presentation at the working group on European Funding opportunities and presented the 3-Sigma model of our work.”
CARDET, an independent, education, research and development organisation based in Cyprus with partners around the world, recently entered into a strategic partnership with one of the best universities in the world, YALE University.
The Defence Ministry said in a press release that the conference was addressed by its Permanent Secretary, Andreas P. Loukas, who underlined that "the defence sector is a pioneer in the adoption and development of new environmentally friendly models and technologies with the aim of improving operational capabilities of the armed forces, achieving energy conservation and sustainable development."
This effort, he emphasised, is done collectively and cooperatively at the European level and this will bring multiple benefits for all EU Member States.
