Third round launch of EUC Startup Programme powered by Microsoft

European University Cyprus (EUC) announced that the 3rd round of the EUC Startup Programme powered by Microsoft has official launched, urging those interested not to miss “this unique opportunity to grow your startup through an amazing network of supporters”.

The Programme, which officially launched on 1 February 2024, is organised by EUC’s School of Business, in close collaboration with Microsoft and 12 leading Cypriot companies, as Innovation Partners: BSM Cyprus, CNP Cyprus, CYTA, ExxonMobil, EY, Gnomi, GrantXpert, Hellenic Bank, IMH, Logicom, NetU and NewCyTech.

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is also a strong supporter.

The aim of the Programme is to help 10 Cypriot startups build strong networks with key players of Cyprus’ startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem, while also developing their startup idea further through training and mentoring, completely free of charge.

In terms of Training, EUC says: “Our comprehensive training programme, tailored to participants’ needs, will cover a diverse range of essential topics based on the identified needs of the participating startups, ensuring an enriching learning experience.”

As for Mentoring: “Each participant is matched with a dedicated mentor from various fields, and through one-on-one mentorship, participants will gain strategic insights, industry-specific wisdom, and tailored guidance, accelerating their path to entrepreneurial success.”

Participating startups will have the opportunity to be introduced by Microsoft representatives to the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, benefiting from:

➢ Cutting edge AI tools: All startups get free access to OpenAI GPT-4 models through Azure. Participating startups receive $2,500 of OpenAI credits.

➢ Free Azure credits: Up to $150,000 in Azure credits to conserve runway while our startups experiment, prototype and build.

➢ Access to real people: Unlimited 1:1 meetings with professionals from Microsoft Founder’s Hub expert network, who can help solve immediate business challenges, plus provide technical guidance on the latest in AI.

➢ Free software and development tools: 30+ additional free and discounted tools, tech, and services from Microsoft and its partners, including M365, GitHub, LinkedIn and more.
