How HUMED is working to make professional dental tools more accessible in Cyprus

Dental students Georges El Bassit and Nikolas Koussis have created HUMED, a company that is steadily placing Cyprus more prominently on the international dental industry map.

As stated by the two dental students, creating HUMED was not easy, but persistence, a love for their field of study, and a willingness to take risks were the driving forces that propelled their entrepreneurial idea.

According to a relevant press release, the two students said they envisioned a modern company they perceived was missing in Cyprus, one that would provide high-quality dental products at affordable prices to dental practices, clinics, hospitals, and university dental schools on the island.

Their ambitious plan began to take shape when AEEDC, the largest scientific dental conference in the world held in Dubai, provided an opportunity for aspiring young entrepreneurs to approach leading companies in the dental industry, presenting their plans and ideas. It was there that they finally met the manufacturing company that believed in their vision. After rigorous product inspections, the company accepted the proposal from the two students for collaboration.

HUMED (HUMAN MEDICINE) is now a reality, and, according to the same announcement, meets all stringent CE and ISO quality standards for its products.
