The Harvard Club of Cyprus recently held a special Gala Dinner in Limassol with key-note speaker Margaritis Schinas, the European Commission Vice President, who addressed the geopolitical and economic challenges facing the European Union.

Margaritis Schinas is entrusted with the portfolio for Promoting our European Way of Life and oversees EU’s policies on Migration, Security Union, Social rights, Skills, Education, Culture and sports, Youth, Public health, Interfaith dialogue, and the Fight against antisemitism.

Attending the Friday, 22 March dinner was Cyprus’ Shipping Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanolis, Greek Ambassador Ioannis Papameletiou, US Ambassador Julie D. Fisher, Members of the Harvard Club of Cyprus, and other distinguished guests.
