US Ambassador Julie D. Fisher named Honorary President of the Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Limassol

The Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Limassol has announced that the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Cyprus, Julie Davis Fisher, has accepted to serve as its Honorary President.
According to an announcement, the title of Honorary President is awarded to the current Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Cyprus according to the Articles of Association of the Club.
On Monday, 26 February, the President of the Club, Polys V. Hajioannou, and the General Secretary, Dr. Loukas N. Barmparis, met with Ambassador Fisher at the US Embassy in Nicosia.
Costis Frangoulis, International First Vice President of the Propeller Club of the United States, and George Demetriou, Economic Specialist at US Embassy Nicosia, also attended the meeting in person. During the meeting, the Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Limassol's Executives gave a brief introduction of the Club’s origins and mission and informed Her Excellency about her election to serve as Honorary President of the Club.
On Thursday, 16 May, the Club will host its first event with the presence of Ambassador Fisher.
"It’s an opportunity for networking and dialogue and a chance to share our vision and goals for the future of our Club. Individuals who are interested in joining the Club can now apply for membership by completing the online membership application form through our Club's website www.propellerclub.cy," the announcement said.
