Presenting the winners of the 16th IN Business Awards

The IN Business Awards have highlighted the best of the business world for the 16th year by, during a glamorous evening held at the Hilton Nicosia Hotel.

The President of the Republic, political officials and of course, the business elite of Cyprus shared their presence at the ultimate celebration of business excellence and good business on the evening of 25 April.

Among 50 nominees, the IN Business Awards put 10 awardees in different categories on the podium, among them companies and organisations that stood out during 2023 but also to leading figures of Cypriot business, who, with their timeless action and contribution, leave an indelible mark on the entrepreneurial - and not only - development of our country. Three honourary awards were also handed out.

In his greeting at the awards ceremony, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, announced that Invest Cyprus, within the next few weeks and following a Government decision, would be launching a major campaign for the rebranding of Cyprus.

Also, CEO & President of the Council of the European University of Cyprus, Dr. Christoforos Hadjikyprianou, in his address, announced the opening of the university's Veterinary School, which will accept its first students next September.

The CEO of IMH, George Michael, meanwhile, shared an optimistic message about the Cypriot economy and entrepreneurship, noting that Cyprus is a pole of security and stability in a challenging region and how the country is improving its image as a worthy and reliable international business centre, capable of continuing to attract large companies and workers from abroad.

The award in the 'Small and Medium Enterprise' category presented by GAP Vassilopoulos Group was awarded to Smoothie Factory.

The award in the ’Retail-Industry/Manufacturing’ category was awarded to Cyprus Millers by Hadjigiorkis.

The award in the ’Services’ category was awarded to Chrysostomides Advocates & Legal Consultants.

The award in the ’Tourism-Hotels-Entertainment-Food & Beverage’ category was awarded to City of Dreams Mediterranean.

The award in the ’Best Workplace/Employer of Choice’ category was awarded to ECOMMBX.

The award in the 'Real Estate-Construction' category presented by CSC Christodoulou was awarded to N.Psaras Construction Co.

The prize in the category ’Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (ESG-CSR)’ presented by OPAP Cyprus was awarded to IKEA.

The award in the ’Business Innovation’ category presented by Gan Direct was awarded to Multimarine Services.

The 'Manager-CEO award in memory of Andy Hadjicostis' was awarded to Eirini Christodoulou, General Manager of Beauty Line at the C.A. Papellinas Group.

The honorary award ’BMW Excellence Award: Cypriot entrepreneur/professional who excels abroad’ was awarded to Professor Kypros Nicolaides.
