The Games Fund listed among world’s most active Gaming VC funds

A leading international market intelligence platform has listed Cyprus-based The Games Fund as being among the five most active gaming VC funds on the global market.

InvestGame has listed The Games Fund in its Q1 2024 report on Gaming Deals, entitled, ‘The “Dog Days” Are Over?’ and, more specifically, in the fourth position in the ‘Most active Gaming VC funds: Seed rounds’ category with US$5 million in investments.

1UP Ventures is at the top of the list with US$19 million, followed by BITKRAFT Ventures with US$21 million, and Transcend Fund with US$11 million. Next is The Games Fund with Ludus Ventures rounding off the top five and also with US$5 million in investments.

It is worth noting that this category includes only gaming studios (developers & publishers of video games) and excludes web3 studios.

Maria Kochmola and Ilya Eremeev, the Managing Partners of The Games Fund, are based in New York, while General Partner Illya Parpinskiy is based in Limassol. The company is described as an early-stage VC fund founded by video game industry veterans.
