PwC Cyprus is hiring an experienced actuarial professional

There is an exciting opportunity to become part of the fast growing and high calibre PwC actuarial team in Cyprus and contribute insurance advice and consulting services to clients such as insurers, regulators and financial institutions.

“We are seeking an experienced actuarial professional up to Manager level to join our practice,” PwC Cyprus has just announced. “You’ll work on IFRS 17, Assurance, Reserving, Pricing, Risk Modelling and Capital projects across the Non-Life / Life insurance market, as well as multidisciplinary projects around areas such as transaction due diligence, analytics, strategic planning and transformation. You’ll be open to new challenges, self-motivated, agile and be able to leverage your existing skills in areas like IFRS 17.”

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include managing and delivering a wide range of concurrent actuarial and multidisciplinary assignments, interacting with clients, often as the main point of contact on assignments, and being involved in the development of more junior staff through on the job coaching, or acting as a career coach, mentor or study mentor.

PwC Cyprus said that in return, the new recruit can expect to benefit from a competitive remuneration package, 13th salary, Provident Fund and Life Insurance – among other things.
