Foreign Minister in Brussels for General Affairs Council

Cyprus Minister of Foreign Affairs Constantinos Kombos will participate in the EU General Affairs Council in Brussels which will prepare the upcoming EUCO from 27-28 June.

The Ministers will on 21 May also discuss Article 7 procedure concerning the Rule of Law in Poland.

An announcement says that as part of the annual rule of law dialogue, Ministers will also discuss the rule of law situation in Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg.

Kombos will present the state of affairs in relation to Cyprus and will refer to the actions that have been taken, as well as the progress that has been achieved to date, to comply with the recommendations of the European Commission.

The EU ministers will also have an informal working breakfast with the Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Responsible for European Integration and EU Chief Negotiator Cristina Gherasimov.
