Leptos Group: Its history since 1960, landmark projects and current activities (pics)

The year 1960 marked the beginning of the Leptos Group with founder, Michalakis G. Leptos, making a name for himself in the land development sector in Kyrenia.

After the Turkish invasion of the island, the Group's activities were directed to the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf, and later to Paphos.

Today, Leptos Group employs more than 1500 people, of which 1350 work in Cyprus and 150 abroad, and operates in five main sectors. Specifically: land and building development, tourism and hotels, investments, health and education.

It has offices in Central Europe, the Middle East and Asia, having at the same time a network of partners in more than 65 countries worldwide, and clients from all over the world.

With a direct goal and vision to continue to maintain the leading position in land development in Cyprus and Greece, the Group’s philosophy, on the basis of which this vision is implemented, is the creation and development of projects of quality and aesthetics with respect for the environment and natural resources of Cyprus, in combination with the continuous upgrading of the level of services it offers.

The Group's portfolio includes more than 350 projects, encompassing development complexes, hotels and commercial developments, including the Iasis Private Hospital and the Neapolis University Pafos.

Other landmark projects are: Limassol Del Mar, Limassol Blu Marine, Leptos Kamares Village, Coral Beach Hotel & Resort and Adonis Beach Villas.

Also, the Group's portfolio includes five hotels, three of which are five-star and two four-star: Leptos Coral Beach Hotel & Resort, Leptos Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa, Leptos Panorama Hotel, Paphos Gardens Hotel & Resort and Basilica Hotel.

It is worth noting that the Group lists more than 30 distinctions related to its various fields of activity.
