Cypriot OSCE Vice-President in Malta for meetings on rule of law

The recent constitutional reforms and the rule of law in Malta will be the subject of contacts in Malta by the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Special Representative on Fighting Corruption, MP Irene Charalambidou.

A House press release said that During her stay in Valletta, Charalambidou will hold meetings with Malta's Attorney General Dr Victoria Buttigiec, the Director-General of the Ministry of Justice and Reform of the Construction Sector Johan Galea, as well as members of the Standing Commission against Corruption. Charalambidou will also visit the Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation, where she will meet with the son of murdered Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, Matthew Caruana Galizia.

The visit to Malta will conclude on 14 June with three meetings, with the delegation of the Maltese Parliament to the OSCE PA and the delegations of two NGOs in Malta (Repubblika and Occupy Justice).
