Health Minister to represent Cyprus at EU Health Council

The Minister of Health, Michael Damianos, is in Luxembourg to represent Cyprus at the Council of Health Ministers of the European Union which will be held on 21 June.

According to a press release, the Ministers' agenda at the Council will focus on, inter alia, issues related to the revision of European pharmaceutical legislation and the strengthening of vaccination coverage in European Union member states to combat cancers linked to viruses such as HPV (human papillomavirus).
