Bank of Cyprus' PrivilEDGE club is redefining, advancing and reframing Private & Affluent Banking.
Its goal is to advise, educate and guide the individual clients/members toward sound financial planning. Through personalised investment advisory solutions, it aims to fine-tune asset management with simple and flexible solutions.
Client profile
Participation in the PrivilEDGE Club is by invitation only. The invitation is extended by the client's Dedicated Relationship Officer at Private & Affluent Banking, on condition that at least one advisory/investment relationship already exists. Clients who can join the club have the following profile:
● Individuals in possession of investible capital, allowing them to explore a wide range of investment opportunities.
● Individuals with an income allowing them to seek investment prospects.
● Emerging Affluent individuals interested in effective savings, who possess a deep understanding of the various investment options and are keen to learn about investment potentials.
● Businesspeople and business owners wanting to expand their assets through strategic investment decisions and solutions.

Christos Ioannou, CFA

Christos Ioannou is Head of Private & Affluent Banking at Bank of Cyprus. Having more than 14 years of professional experience in the banking sector, on joining Bank of Cyprus he worked at Corporate Banking and Debt Recovery. Prior to taking charge of Private & Affluent Banking, he was responsible for laying out, designing and implementing the Bank of Cyprus vision, mapping out and designing the Group's Transformation Plan. He served as Chief of the Transformation Office, where he was responsible for managing the Bank's transformation programme. Christos is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He also has a degree in Business Administration in Finance from Baruch College at City University, New York. He earned a postgraduate degree in Global Finance at the New School for Social Research, New York.
Zenon Papaphilippou, CFA

Zenon Papaphilippou is Manager at Private & Affluent Banking at Bank of Cyprus, with 20 years’ experience with financial markets. He studied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Cyprus, later earning a postgraduate degree with honours in Mathematical Finance from Warwick University, UK. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Zenon served as Vice-Chairman of the CFA Society Cyprus, as well as Chairman of the CFA's Advocacy Committee. He is a visiting university teacher at an English University where he teaches Finance and Accounting. He has published a number of articles on the subject of financial planning and has featured as a speaker at events promoting ethics and integrity in investment.
Natalie Philippou, CFA

Natalie Philippou has 14 years of experience in financial markets and investments, in the UK and more recently in Cyprus, where she managed portfolios for institutional and private investors. Natalie joined Bank of Cyprus in February 2024 as a Relationship Manager at Private & Affluent Banking, covering the Nicosia, Larnaca and Famagusta areas. Natalie is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and serves on the Board of CFA Society Cyprus as Secretary. She holds a postgraduate degree in Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Imperial College Business School, as well as a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College.
Andreas Charidemou, CFA

Andreas Charidemou is Relationship Manager at Private & Affluent Banking covering the areas of Limassol and Paphos. He joined Bank of Cyprus in January 2024. Before joining the Bank, he had worked as Executive Manager and Head of Risk Management with an Alternative Investment Fund Manager. Andreas has more than eight years’ experience in regulated investments, having worked in portfolio management, risk management and compliance. He holds a BSc (Honours) in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School), UK. as well as Master in Business Administration from Boston University, United States. Andreas is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Tasos Hadjinicolaou

Tasos Hadjinicolaou is the Manager Investment Strategy for BOC Private & Affluent Banking. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Bank of Cyprus Wealth Investment Strategy Committee. An experienced financial market professional with over 25 years of experience specialising in cross-asset macro strategies, Asset Management and proprietary trading systems operating within regulated markets. He is responsible for the Investment Strategy function for Bank of Cyprus managing the Private Banking Advisory Model/Bespoke portfolios.
Tasos holds a BA degree in Accounting from Middlesex University.
