Equiti Capital's Mohammad Isbeer: iFX Expo has always been an amazing event for us

Mohammad Isbeer, Chief Institutional Officer at Equiti Capital, has been attending iFX Expo International – which took place this June at City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol – for the past decade and describes it as a great opportunity to meet with existing and potential clients as well as get a feel of the market trends.

Speaking to CBN, Isbeer discussed his expectations from this year’s event while he also revealed what he believed will be the trends shaping the brokerage industry in the coming years.

“This event has always been for us the right place to reconnect, see our partners and see what other trends are in the industry. Cyprus is very special, because it combines a lot of the liquidity, retail brokers along with the payment providers and tech providers,” he explained, adding that the iFX Expo was a great place to discover the new trends in the industry and also come face to face with Equiti Capital’s clients and partners. “This is very important for us. You know, sometimes you get busy and you need these events to put everyone in the same place and have these conversations face to face,” said Isbeer.

“So this is what we are expecting from it and it has always delivered. I’ve been attending this for the last 10 years and it has always been an amazing event for us. Not to mention there’s a lot of fun in Cyprus,” he added.
