Grant Thornton Cyprus attends several university award ceremonies in June

Grant Thornton Cyprus, once again showed its support to local excellence by attending and being involved in several award ceremonies in June.

The company sponsored the 4th Pancyprian Political Economy Olympiad, where its representatives Athina Nicolaou and Kyriacos Elia presented the gold prize winners with monetary awards.

In addition, Assurance Partner Polys Polyviou with Athina Nicolaou and Tania Pilavaki attended the TEPAK Award Ceremony where Tania delivered an inspiring speech and honoured the student who achieved the highest general score.

On 25 June, Grant Thornton Cyprus’ CEO Stavros Ioannou presented the "Grant Thornton - Be the Best You Can Be" award for leadership at the English School Graduation Ceremony. “This non-academic prize was awarded to the student who embodied our company's values and ideals the most, throughout their presence at the school,” the company said.

Finally, on 26 June, Assurance Partner Demetra Yipsiotou attended the American Academy Larnaca graduation ceremony where the staff voted and awarded the "Grant Thornton - Be the Best You Can Be" award to the top-class student who exhibited a spirit of collaboration, leadership, and respect through their activities and initiatives.

“We would like to congratulate everyone who excelled during this academic year, and we wish you to continue treading the same path!” the company said.
