Roni Aloni: Expanding to Cyprus and Greece was a very good choice

Leonardo Hotels was established in Israel around 25 years ago, starting off as a management company before growing to become an ownership and management company, and then being one of the first 20 companies to listed on Israel’s stock exchange. In 2017, it expanded to Cyprus.

Roni Aloni, Managing Director of the Mediterranean Region at Fattal Hotel Group, speaking to the camera as part of Invest Cyprus’ Working & Living in Cyprus Series on YouTube, thinks the decision to expand to Cyprus and Greece was a “very good choice”.

He believes, as a foreign investor, that the country has to think for the long term when it comes to tourism; “I think that is should be supported. I think that there is still a lot to do, cost-wise, marketing-wise etc., and I think by delivering these messages you could help a lot,” he told Invest Cyprus.
