Deloitte Cyprus announces three new partners

Deloitte Cyprus has announced the ongoing growth of its leadership team, with the appointment of three new partners effective 1 June 2024.
According to an announcement from the company, Yiannis Ioannides, Andreas Yiouselli and Panayiotis Marinou have been promoted to Partner in the Risk Advisory and Tax & Legal practices respectively.
"These newest leaders have distinct skillsets in cyber, corporate affairs, and local and international tax advisory that reflect issues that matter significantly to the market," Deloitte Cyprus' announcement said.

Yiannis Ioannides – Risk Advisory | Cyber & Strategic Risk
Yiannis has over 15 years of experience serving clients across Cyprus, Europe and the Middle East. He main focuses are on Cyber Strategy, Risk Management, Crisis Management & Resilience, as well as infrastructure security, with specialisation primarily in the Financial Services sector. He also leads the Defense, Security and Justice sub-sector for Deloitte Cyprus.
Yiannis holds a BSc in Business Information Systems from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and an MBA from CIIM. He has achieved a number of professional certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Red Team Operator (CRTO), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). Yiannis is a member of the Cyprus IT Enterprises Association (CITEA), for which he also serves on the Board of Directors.
Andreas Yiouselli – Tax & Legal | Business Process Solutions
Andreas has over 18 years of experience serving clients across various industries and jurisdictions, with a main focus on accounting, financial reporting, banking, administration, corporate secretarial, CFO services and operational advisory. He acts as business advisor to a number of private clients on their personal and corporate affairs on areas of expanding and/or restructuring, cost savings, operational matters, and setting up offices in Cyprus and abroad.
Andreas holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance, and an MBA from CIIM. He is a Qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), currently serving on the Corporate Governance and Business Ethics Committee.
Panayiotis Marinou – Tax & Legal | Business Tax
Panayiotis has over 14 years of experience, specialising in local and international taxation. He offers tax compliance and tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including large local groups and multinationals operating in Cyprus. Additionally, he specialises in Transfer Pricing (TP) and advises clients on Corporate Restructuring and M&A projects, accumulating significant expertise in tax structuring, due diligence and tax-free reorganisations. He also leads the Oil, Gas and Chemicals sub-sector for Deloitte Cyprus, and serves supermajor Oil & Gas companies operating on the island.
Panayiotis holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and also holds the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT). He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), currently serving on the Energy Committee of the Institute.
