KPMG in Cyprus hosts the "Business Game" as part of the Summer Internship Programme

On 28 June 2024, KPMG in Cyprus successfully organised a "Business Game" for the 7th consecutive year at their offices in Nicosia.

"This engaging event, part of KPMG’s Summer Internship Programme, provided a unique platform for young talents to showcase their innovative ideas in front of a panel of 'investors'," a press release from the company notes.

Students were divided into teams and tasked with a challenging objective: to create a service or product that would address a specific social or environmental issue, incorporate technology and sustainability in the business concept as well as prepare a presentation with the supporting business plan.

The panel of “investors”, comprising of KPMG Board Members, Principals, and a representative from each team, were faced with the difficult task of assessing the presentations. The competition was intense, with students displaying remarkable ideas across the board. The evaluation criteria focused on the content quality, originality and the effectiveness of presentation and communication.

"The "Business Game" continues to be a highlight of KPMG’s Internship Programme, fostering creativity and providing students with invaluable experience in a real-world business environment," the press release concluded.
