New Bean Bar – on wheels – in Deftera

Bean Bar is expanding its presence in the Cypriot market, announcing the opening of another café. The chain’s 13th café, which recently started operating from the parking lot of the Alphamega Hypermarket in Deftera, promises a different experience for the friends of the brand, serving people on four wheels.

Bean Bar’s coffee truck, which is open daily from 06:30 to 20:00 now serves the residents, workers and visitors of Deftera, Lakatamia and Tseri.

Consumers visiting Alphamega Hypermarket in Deftera for their shopping as well as people passing through the area, can enjoy the chain’s products, either by ordering beforehand through the Bean Bar App, or directly at the truck. Moreover, all those living or working in the nearby area can place an order for delivery through Foody.

The Bean Bar Truck in Deftera offers the authentic coffee varieties that the chain has become popular for: three unique single-origin blends from Costa Rica, Brazil and Nicaragua, which are best suited for Calm, Wild and Alive moods, respectively, as well as a blend from Latin America which is best suited for cool types.

Moreover, the Truck’s to go menu features healthy juices, superfoods and protein shakes, different types of tea and other tasty drinks. It also offers savoury snacks, superfood chocolate cookie pots as well as different yogurt flavors made with fresh ingredients.

In a statement, Bean Bar’s Brand Manager Antonia Koumettou said: “The Bean Bar family is growing, and this makes us very happy and excited. With this new groundbreaking café at our Hypermarket in Deftera, we wanted to give our customers who have embraced the chain’s products and philosophy, even more choices and more flexible and easy ways of accessing our products. As such, we cannot wait to share with you this new experience of our Bean Bar on wheels!”

It is noted that the chain operates another twelve stores, nine of which are located within Alphamega Hypermarkets. The in-house coffee stores are located in Engomi, Akropoli and Latsia in Nicosia, Skarinou, Kiti and Metropolis Mall in Larnaka, as well as Polemidia, Kapsalos and Trimiklini in Limassol. The company’s three standalone coffeeshops (not within Alphamega Hypermarkets) are located on Makariou Avenue in Nicosia, Kolonaki Avenue in Limassol and at the Old Port of Limassol.

The chain also collaborates with online food delivery platforms Foody and Bolt, while customers can also order their favourite Bean Bar products through the Bean Bar App and collect them from the store of their choice.
