Mall of Cyprus celebrates the island's Olympic athletes

The Mall of Cyprus is hosting an exhibition of photos of the athletes that will be representing Cyprus at the upcoming Olympic Games.

"Be proud at the Mall of Cyprus of our athletes who will represent Cyprus at the Olympic Games "Paris 2024", in an impressive aerial photo exhibition, which will remain until the end of the top sporting event on the planet," a LinkedIn post by the Mall of Cyprus noted.

The Cypriot Olympic Team for the 33rd Summer Olympic Games "Paris 2024" (26/7-11/8) was presented on 16 July, during a press conference organized by the Cyprus Olympic Committee (COC).

As it was announced, flag bearers at the opening ceremony of the Games will be Milan Trajkovic and Elena Kulichenko.

The Cypriot Olympic Team consists of 15 athletes, 9 women and 6 men. Athletes will participate in eight different sports, including fencing for the first time. Cyprus will also be competing in Judo for the first time in 20 years. The last time Cyprus was due to compete in this many sports at the Olympic Games was in 1992.
