Allan Boardman is an experienced business consultant and accredited trainer specializing in information governance, technology, assurance, risk management, security, and data. He is a frequent speaker at conferences worldwide and conducts security programs in cybersecurity, risk, and control. A chartered accountant, he began his career at Deloitte in Cape Town and has over 40 years of experience, including roles at GSK, AXA, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, PwC, Marks and Spencer, and the London Stock Exchange.

Currently, he serves on the Audit and Risk Committee of a major London university. He participates in the working group for CDPSE certification. He was a member of the ISACA International Board of Directors from 2011 to 2014 and served as president of the ISACA London Chapter from 2004 to 2006. He received the ISACA Chair's Award in 2014 and the Eugene M. Frank Award in 2019 for outstanding volunteer service and has been included in ISACA's "Top-Rated Speakers" lists for 2018 and 2019.
