TechIsland leaders meet with high-level tech delegation

TechIsland’s Chairman, Valentinos Polykarpou, and General Manager, Tanya Romanyukha, met with a delegation from the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), led by Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya, as well as the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Nicodemos Damianou, PhD and Chief Scientist Demetris Skourides.

As noted in a Techisland LinkedIn post, the DCO is an international body focused on promoting digital transformation and economic growth through cooperation among its member states. It aims to enhance digital inclusion, support innovation, while fostering an inclusive digital economy.

"Both of our organizations share a common vision: leveraging technology as a key driver for GDP growth. During the meeting, we explored various opportunities for collaboration aimed at fostering #prosperity through the advancement of a #digitaleconomy," TechIsland said in its post.

"We extend our gratitude to the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy for facilitating this important meeting. At TechIsland, we remain committed in our mission to solidify Cyprus' position as a hub for #innovation and #technology, and to champion a tech-driven economy," it continued.
