More.com joins sponsorship family of FIBA EuroBasket 2025

More.com, one of the leading e-ticketing platforms in Europe, has officially joined the sponsorship family of FIBA EuroBasket 2025, which will be held in Cyprus.

The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Organising Committee and more.com have shaken hands, with more.com taking its place in the "Event Sponsors" category.

Notably, there are only eight sponsorship positions available for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Cyprus, divided into two tiers: "Main Event Sponsors" (4 positions) and "Event Sponsors" (4 positions). Each sponsoring company enjoys exclusivity in its category.

In addition to the sponsorship, more.com will be the exclusive online platform for issuing and distributing tickets and VIP hospitality for the fifteen highly anticipated games of FIBA EuroBasket 2025. These games will take place at the "Spyros Kyprianou" arena in Limassol, within Group C of the tournament, which will be watched by over 70,000 fans in person and millions of viewers worldwide.

More.com, headquartered in Nicosia, Athens, and other European cities, works with over 4,000 partners, has managed 370,000 events, and sold 46 million tickets. It is a leading provider in the field of e-ticketing services for both physical and streaming events. This sponsorship is not more.com’s first involvement with basketball; it was an official partner of the European champion, Panathinaikos BC AKTOR, for the 2023-2024 season.

Mark Klerides, the president of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Organizing Committee in Cyprus, welcomed more.com to the event’s sponsorship family: "We are excited to have found such dedicated partners in the people of more.com who love sports and basketball and are committed to supporting our national endeavor to organize the European Championship in Cyprus. Beyond the sponsorship collaboration, we are confident that the ticketing services they will provide for FIBA EuroBasket 2025, which will soon be available to the public, will be of the highest level and will satisfy all fans.”

The CEO of more.com, Mr. Vangelis Mitsis, stated: "We are excited to be part of such a historic event. Our collaboration with FIBA EuroBasket 2025 not only underscores our commitment to the sports community but also shows our dedication to enhancing the fan experience through seamless and innovative ticketing solutions."

Tickets for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 will soon be available for purchase directly through more.com, ensuring fans have easy access to this historic event.

FIBA EuroBasket 2025

FIBA EuroBasket 2025 is the second most important basketball tournament in the world, after the FIBA World Cup. Cyprus will host fifteen games for Group C, with three games per day. The five matchdays of Group C will be held on August 28, 30, 31, September 2, and 4, 2025. Cyprus will be in the group along with the Greek National Team of Giannis Antetokounmpo as the "partner country" chosen by the Cyprus Basketball Federation as the host (assuming they secure their qualification in the next phase of the qualifiers in November). Four other national teams will join through a draw in March 2025.

The final phase of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 will take place in four countries. In addition to Cyprus, Latvia, Finland, and Poland will each host one group. The knockout games, from the Round of 16 onwards, will be held in Riga.
