Priority List launches for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 ticket purchase

The Cyprus Organising Committee for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 tournament has announced the launch of the Priority List to purchase tickets for the 15 matches of the event that will take place in Limassol next summer.

Between 27 August and 14 September 2025, Cyprus, together with Finland, Poland and Latvia, will co-organise EuroBasket 2025, which will be the most important sporting event our island has ever hosted.

And now, 13 months ahead of the first game at "Spyros Kyprianou" in Limassol, the Cyprus Basketball Federation (KOK) and the Organising Committee of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Cyprus, in collaboration with more.com - one of the leading e- ticketing platforms in Europe and "Event sponsor" of the event in Cyprus – have announced the launch of the Priority List for the purchase of tickets for the 15 matches of the event.

As of 22 August, basketball fans can apply to join Priority List at the following link, where they will register their name and email address so as to be given priority once the tickets for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 are released. The window for those registered on the list to purchase their priority tickets will be from 27 August until 4 September. From 5 September onwards, the tickets will be available for the broad public.

Ticket bundles for the national teams of Cyprus and Greece

The prices and categories (based on the seat in the arena) of the tickets for Group C of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Limassol, will be announced soon. From 27 August 2024 until March 2025 (when the draw for the final phase will take place and the other 4 Group countries in Cyprus will be announced), fans will be able to purchase the "Follow Your Team Cyprus" packages which will include all five matches of the Cyprus National Team, as well as the "Follow Your Team Partner country" package, which for Group C of Cyprus, will be the Greek National Team of Giannis Antetokounmpo; provided Greece qualifies for the final phase (which will likely happen in the next qualifying window, in November 2024, after the two wins in as many matches in the first window in February 2024).

Single match tickets (if any remain, following the availability of Follow Your Team packages), will go on sale after the draw for the final phase in March 2025 and the finalisation of the other four National Teams to compete in Cyprus.

More information

FIBA EuroBasket 2025 tickets will be sold online only, via more.com, will be nominal and each person will be entitled to purchase up to six tickets. For Cypriot fans, it will be necessary to have a fan card for the purchase, while for foreign residents, a passport or ID number will be required.

It should be noted that due to the large time gap between the purchase of the tickets and the matches, there will be the possibility of reselling tickets through the more.com platform (for a small fee), for those who cannot ultimately attend the event, given that all tickets will be sold.

This, after all, is the main objective: for Cypriot sports fans to embrace this great event and help it sell out! It is estimated that over 70,000 spectators will be able to watch the matches at "Spyros Kyprianou". However, once the ticket bundles are made available, the actual number of people who will be able to enjoy the experience live will drop further, which is why it is important to register on the priority list, for those who do not want to miss the opportunity.
