Former Hellenic Bank CEO Oliver Gatzke: "We will continue living in Cyprus"

The former CEO of Hellenic Bank, Oliver Gatzke, recognised the official end of his contract with the financial institution on 22 July with a post on LinkedIn.

In the post, Gatzke said, “I will focus my future career on sharing my transformational experience in the European banking industry as senior advisor and non-executive director. It was a real pleasure and honour serving Hellenic Bank as CEO and I would like to thank all stakeholders for the past three years and wish the Bank all the best for the future.”

Later speaking exclusively to CBN, Gatzke added that he and his family had decided to remain in Cyprus, “We will continue living in Cyprus because of the country, its people and the weather which is definitely better than in Germany.”

He also said that, “After the summer break I will look for non-exec opportunities but (there is) nothing concrete to talk about yet.”
