12th Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards – A resounding success (pics)

The 12th Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards presented by PwC Cyprus, paying tribute to major international investors active on the island, were held with great success at the Hilton Nicosia on 3 July.
In the presence of President Nikos Christodoulides and a number of select guests, some of the island’s leading international investors were awarded in recognition of their contribution to Cyprus and its growing economy.
The seven companies that received a Cyprus International Investment Award were:
Oracle Cyprus – a tech provider whose journey in Cyprus began in 1988, initially focused on providing robust database solutions, which quickly became the standard for managing critical mission information in Cyprus.
Criteo - a global technology company, active in the digital advertising sector. Criteo runs a large engineering hub in Cyprus.
Monjasa - a global shipping partner and one of the 10 largest marine fuels suppliers in the world that chose Limassol as the base port for its expanding Mediterranean maritime activities.
The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) - an approved branch campus of the globally-ranked American University of Beirut (AUB) in Beirut, Lebanon.
HELLENiQ ENERGY - a leading integrated energy Group in Southeast Europe that has operated in Cyprus since 2002, making substantial investments that have assisted the island on its journey towards a sustainable green future.
MHV/Invel Real Estate/Christophoros Papachristophorou - a hospitality group dedicated to creating exceptional destinations in the Hospitality and Real Estate sectors across Cyprus, Greece and Italy.
Boutique Beverages Bottling International Ltd (BBBI) - a subsidiary of Kassatly Group, established on the island to expand its bottling facilities and to specialise in promoting the FREEZ brand in the global market.
The 12th Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards presented by PwC Cyprus was addressed by President Christodoulides, IMH CEO George Michael, Invest Cyprus Chairman Evgenios Evgeniou and PwC Cyprus CEO Philippos Soseilos.
Taking place at the Hilton Nicosia, the Awards are hosted by GOLD magazine and organised by Invest Cyprus, the official body the government has entrusted with the task of attracting foreign investment to Cyprus.
