Damianou & Skourides meet with leading G42 companies in Abu Dhabi to discuss AI collaboration

During a visit in Abu Dhabi, Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Nicodemos Damianou, accompanied by the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation and Technology, Demetris Skourides, held a series of productive meetings with Bayanat and other leading G42 companies, specialising in AI-powered geospatial and smart mobility solutions, space and earth observation technologies and data centre infrastructure.

Discussions focused on collaboration opportunities across a wide range of use cases and industry applications to leverage artificial intelligence in the Cyprus public sector, as well as on Cyprus’ potential for international businesses looking for an effective gateway into and out of Europe.

The Cypriot delegation also had the opportunity for a tour around the Abu Dhabi data centre of Khazna Data Centers, a landmark of technological innovation and sustainability, as well as a first-hand experience of Bayanat's autonomous vehicles.
