Alphamega and Bean Bar rank among top 20 Investors in People employers worldwide

C.A. Papaellinas Emporiki Ltd, owner company of ALPHAMEGA and Bean Bar, was re-certified with the Investors in People standard at Gold level, while earning the unique and honourable distinction of being ranked among the top 20 employers of the standard worldwide (except for the UK).

The company has been certified for the fourth time as an Investor in People. In 2012, it achieved the Standard level and in 2016 the Bronze level, while in 2020 it achieved the Gold level for the first time.

The standard, which is applied in 66 countries, offers accreditation to organisations for their good practices in human resources, following a thorough assessment. Alphamega and Bean Bar’s employees initially participated in a staff opinion survey. Then, an Investors in People assessor selected and invited some individuals to face-to-face meetings, to discuss aspects of the team members’ professional lives and experience at the company.

In statements, the company’s HR Manager, Marios Antoniou said: “The Investors in People certification makes us proud as we strive to offer the best possible employment experience through innovative projects and a human-centric approach. We are grateful to our team members, as their feedback has led our company to be an Investor in People for the fourth time in its history. Our global ranking in the top 20 employers of the standard at Gold level amongst around 1,070 other organisations of the same ranking was a very pleasant surprise which, in addition to being very fulfilling for us, also motivates us to continue to design and implement practices that meet the needs of our colleagues, as our people remain our company’s most valuable asset”.
